Anna was up and off early this morning, she wanted to spend as much time as possible with Katie and had booked an early flight, well 8 o clock out of Melbourne. We had already explained that Jason could not take any more time off work and with the three hour round trip to and from the airport and needing the car here in Mt Martha to drop Tom at TAFE in Frankston and the kids at school in Mornington we could not drive her. She booked the Peninsular Shuttle Bus, picking it up in Frankston at 5.15, the taxi picked her up at 4.45. Jason got up to ensure she was up and off Ok, before coming back to bed for an hour, he gets up at 6 anyhow to leave home at 6.45.

The rest of us were also up earlier than usual as I am going to take Tom to TAFE for the first few days, he started at 8.30, so I have enough time to get Moo and Sam back to Mornington for school at 9. Sam isn’t happy that he can’t go on his bike but he will just have to put up with being driven this week.

I went to see Hayley and Millie for a coffee, then cleaned, taking advantage of an empty house, I was able to have a good sort and even made soup for Tom for when he arrived home.

Today was a late day at TAFE for Tom and we were concerned after yesterday that this would really put him off, it didn’t , it turns out that only those who had to sit the maths test had to go in yesterday, so today there were loads more and he is now one of a group of 8 who hang out together. One lad who he really hit it off with, Jack, lives in Mt Eliza which is only 10 mins away so is really handy and they have already made arrangements to meet on Saturday night. This is great news and will really help him settle.
