Thursday

Thursday

I had been invited to go to the DFO (Designer Factory Outlets) with Lesley and Sally, but declined the invite, first we have just had a $247.00 electric bill and Moo has been accepted for keyboard lessons and that’s another $170, so we are not cash rich at the moment and also we are saving to get the dog here, we will hopefully be booking that very soon, but also after all the washing I have been doing I now have an ironing mountain and really needed to do that.

But the morning didn’t go quite as planned, Diane arrived to say Hi and to catch up, her furniture arrived on Monday so it was great to see her so happy, Hayley and Millie arrived too a little later, then Peppa to pick up some Safety House paperwork which I had printed for her. We all had coffee and a good laugh, then I warmed up left over soup from yesterday and we had that, they left about 1.30 and I still had an ironing mountain, not good. But I got cracking and did about half before needing to set off for the school run. Time really does fly by when you are having fun.

Tonight was also the Safety House Committee Monthly Meeting, I was picking Gail up at 7 and we were meeting Peppa at school. I had talked Diane into coming along too, the more the merrier and she was happy to give it a go.

Diane got to say Hi and it was nice meeting you to my parents as it was skype night, they were interested in speaking to Tom to understand how his first few days at TAFE had gone, I had a veru short Hi, before we needed to set off. It was a good meeting but we were definitely at the naughty end of the tables. It was good and we all have actions before the next meeting, Peppa, Diane and I are sorting out the sweet jar fundraising activity, even more reasons not to find a job, well I am now on the committee and have volunteered to be a safety house once my police checks are back and with the fund raising and of course coffee, cakes and chardonnay days, I really do not know how I will fit working in too.

When I got back I skyped dad and actually spoke to Andrew, first time in a long time, who was at home. It was lovely to have a catch up, but I am worried about mum and dad after a hoax call they had received.

I will be pleased when we have booked flights for the dog, so that they can book flights for us and we have something to look forward to as they are going to be here for Christmas, and Andrew is more than welcome to, or he can come at the end of Jan for my 40th birthday.

Carol - Your not that old, well you certainly don't act it and you have your daughters and grand kids to keep you on your toes.

I know 40, it just seems sooo wrong, think I am going to go back to fibbing about my age like I used to do.

I have the best memories of Milton Keynes, we had a ball, I still smile when I think of the times we had, we need Jill to upload some of the pics she took, I remember the park, Pizza Hunt and Mr M in my pink coat :-)

Will email you soon, been busy with Anna being here.

Love you Too
Take Care
