Tuesday – It seems I do, do buses

We are still getting things organised, luckily Jason hasn’t started with Anz yet which means he can work through the list of things we need to do on the computer at work. Anyhow, now have a phone Jason has ordered our broadband, he had to sort out our telephone banking account and then paid for it that way, hopefully we will be back on line soon. After sorting out the dried washing, we tidied up and Moo and I decided to go in to Frankston, on the bus, yes I went on a bus, for those of you who don’t know me that well, “I don’t do buses”, I wanted some more drawer and cupboard liners and until I had them do not want to put anything away, so we still had some of our stuff on the kitchen surface.

At 12.35 Mollie and I set off to the top of the road to the nearest bus stop, which had a bus timetable attached, this was good news, but not good news as the buses only run every hour at 25 past the hour, we had missed it and now had 45 minutes to wait until the next one, we decided to walk to the next bus stop to try and kill some time, I can’t remember how many bus stops we ended up walking past, but it was quite a few.

The journey was great; it took us on roads we had not been on and as we were sat at the back were quite high up and could see over fences at some beautiful in your dreams type houses. Frankston has a large indoor shopping centre, probably about the size of the White Rose, first stop was the food court for lunch, then onto Kmart, we had a wander round the whole store bought quite a few bits and bobs then had a look round a few other stores. Frankston is Ok, we had been warned when looking at places to live only to look at Frankston South as there are a few rather undesirable areas, I can now understand this statement, seeing some of the people, good grief they were rather strange and I am being VERY polite here.

Back to the bus stop and home. I had managed to get more drawer liners so cleared the surface before making tea. When Jason arrived home we paid some UK bills. Not a very interesting day and still no news from the lease company about the car.
