Friday – Food Shop BIG style
After sweeping the garage floor, Tom and I went food shopping, I have not been happy about the lack of kitchen facilities I have, but my new family banquet fry pan is great and I can cook quite a few things in it, but I need the ingredients to do this, so after cooking a roast beef joint with thyme and black pepper and some roast potatoes ready to warm up later for tea when Jason arrived home we set of for a HUGE shop. We bought loads of sauces and marinades, diced garlic and other herbs and spices, it cost $240.00 and we filled the trolley. Moo and Sam admitted to having a great first week at school, which is such a relief, we also received the info from TAFE and not only does Tom need to have an interview he also has to do a maths test, great, we now need to buy some Oz revision books to help him get through that, also another cost, $1170 for the six months which if he is successful needs to be paid on the day. Friday evening Jason and I went out in Mornington, he will do that update as it was an interesting evening

HEY guys Ryan and Katie here! happy to hear the kids have settled in i bet that takes a big load off your minds! Still in Brisbane at the moment will be heading north shortly! Read your blog and seems your keeping everything in order Tracy haha! Cant wait till our bbq christmas being a traveller is no fun when it comes to food especially in the cities sooo expensive! Hi Kate and Ryan, everyone is OK and the kids LOVE school, think the weather at the moment has something to so with that though, still just wearing t-shirts with pants. Glad you are enjoying Brisbane and of course I am keeping everything in order, lets be honest I don't have anything else to do. :-)
I am already looking at dates and staring to stock pile food ready for your visit and looking forward to seeing you both. But your mum and dad are looking to visit and Anna and Emma and co are all saving too, looks like we are going to be busy being tour guides, between you two and us we will be able to show then loads :-)
