Thursday – School Presentation

Not much to report about today, I was invited to Benton Junior college as were other parents to see The Council of International Schools present an award to the school to acknowledge there accreditation as an international school. It was great to see the school in action, and see some of the other pupils and parents, although it was not a social event so no opportunity to speak to anyone. In fact school doesn’t seem to be a place to meet anyone, the kids from quite an early age seem to make their own way to and from school, there are NO parents outside Sam’s class room and he is embarrassed if I loiter too close, and only about 6 or 7 outside Moo’s. After lunch Tom and I had a drive round the local area just to see what is about, we drove down the esplanade road which is very picturesque, we need to take some pics for you to see too.
