Scam Alert !!!!

Well we were in the paper again on Friday and are hoping we might get some viewers soon – PLEASE !!!! Anyhow we are now concentrating on getting things ready for Jason’s move at the beginning of April. If we get everything ready as though we were all going I will have less to do when we do eventually sell.

Our cars are now for sale and we have already done 1 car boot to get rid of some of our half decent stuff. We are also going to get a power of attorney for me from Jason.

Our second viewer won’t be buying, apparently Jason and I didn’t seem desperate enough when he came to look, we obviously should have been on our hands and knees begging at his feet, well we all know what he was don’t we, I can think of a number of words to describe him, non polite enough to be on here though !

We have also had a couple of emails from a man who found our home on a do it yourself home selling site. His first email said :

Hi there,

I was surfing a private home owners website and caught hold of your home, I am interested and would like to know if your house is still available for sale.

I would also like to know if the price is negotiable.

Thanks, Greg

We responded and told him we were for sale and that the price was negotiable and tried not to sound too desperate. Second email from him says

Hi,

Thanks for your response, I have been seeking a nice house to buy and saw yours. I just remarried late last year and the truth is my wife and I haven't even had our honeymoon because of our work status (although I do have kids). I have always wanted to own a home, a home I can call my own and the moment I had a look at the photos of yours, I knew this is it.

I'm presently in London but would be traveling soon. I would really appreciate more pictures and brief description about the house and neighborhood again.

Permit my asking, are you the first owners of the home? and how long have you owned it. Regarding the price, my offer is 460,000. Do let me know if you accept.

Thanks, Greg

Now would you make an offer for a house you had never seen and didn’t even know where it was, he must think we are stupid, we are desperate but not stupid. Needless to say he was been told to ring us to discuss so that we can ensure that this is a genuine offer, we haven’t heard anything since that – wonder why, can only assume it is one of our scammer friends!

So if anyone wants to buy a nice house, a Nissan Terrano II or a Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet both low mileage and good condition, let us know or if you want a free cat, our cat Ben is free to a good home
