The Weekend

Friday night was a great night, we had Hayley, Paul and Millie, and Nick and Sue for supper, just did chilli, rice, garlic bread and salad, Hayley brought the pud, we are working through all the options at the Cheesecake shop.

It was a laugh, the boys played golf as usual and we just chattered.

Saturday we didn’t do much during the day, we were at Sally and Rob’s party on Saturday night and that was good, I caught up with the girls which was nice as I had missed chardy club on Friday and we didn’t get home until 2 which is not good when you know you have to get up the next day.

Sunday we had to get up as we were at the races, we are now members of Mornington Race’s http://www.mrc.net.au/, we went with Gail and Paul and there 2 girls, and Peppa and Owen and there 4. We all had a great day, even Tom came with us, he was a bit bored but think he would have enjoyed it more had it been warmer, it was warm when the sun came out, but in between it was really cold. Anyhow we didn’t come away with any big winnings, but had a laugh and didn’t lose that much either so that was a bonus. We are now looking forward to the next meeting on the 27th, there is one mid week in September, but we won’t be going to that one, well unless it is school hols. Because we are members we have paid for admissions for the year, parking is free and we just take a picnic as we did today. I am now shattered typing this, must be all the fresh air and nothing to do with the 2 bottles of sparkling that Gail and I consumed.
