Saturday A walk on the beach and curry

Saturday we didn’t rush to get up, which was nice, we had a late breakfast did some washing and put it on the line to dry as it was nice and warm and went for a walk on the local beach, some beaches are specific off lead beaches for dogs, others are on lead and there are some where dogs aren’t allowed. So we had a wander to the on and off lead beaches, they are the rocky ones rather than the nice sandy ones, but will be OK for the dog to have a run. It was really warm and we were just in our jeans and t shirts.

After lunch Jason and I went to Karingal as I wanted a chicken for lunch tomorrow, he was amazed at the variety of meats and the deli counter too, it really is a great place and the more you buy the cheaper it is, can’t wait for BBQ season to start.

Tonight was Hayley and Pauls for curry supper, Hayley was cooking and I did dessert, individual vanilla slices, they were lovely, in fact it was all lovely. Hayley had cooked chicken jalfrezi and a korma and rice, naan, poppodums and Indian starters, it was delicious.

We do get on with them really well, they are great company and so easy to chat too, Hayley took the mickey out of Jason but that is the norm now. We hadn’t planned on taking the kids, but as Tom seems to spend most of his time and meal times with Josh and Ethan next door he had been invited again for tea and was staying there, so we got Sam and Moo ready, packed a game and the portable DVD and took them with us, we just settled them in Hayley and Pauls theatre room and that was it until it was time for us to leave. We weren’t that late leaving as they were falling asleep and it wasn’t fair on them.
