General Update

The weeks seem to be going along as usual and quite boring really, well not boring, but more into a routine. Monday was cleaning and washing, Tuesday I applied for some jobs and had a coffee with Hayley, Wednesday was more job applications and coffee with Peppa, Thursday was coffee with Sally and then coffee with Diane, a couple of conversations with recruitment agencies, which boosted my confidence that if I wanted to go and work in the city then I could. Then it was the Safety House meeting, which was quite interesting, especially when it was mentioned that the school had a kangaroo in its grounds at some point last year.

It’s lovely to see everyone and have coffee etc, but as we have now paid for Buster’s flight, my getting some sort of job to assist with day to day living is very important. Or should I say it was, we found out today that we can salary package Buster, so we will give SMS the bill, they will give us the money back and then take back a certain amount each month from Jason’s salary, but we don’t have to pay tax on that amount. This is great news as it means I can look at where I work and what I do, rather than that I have to work.
