Girls Night In

Tuesday was a busy day, I was quite lazy and didn’t get up until 10.30 then it was a mad rush to get things organised for the evening as I had my lovely ladies coming for supper, I had to prepare as much of the food as I could and I also got my candles and burners ready to be just lit, as I knew it would be a rush once I got home as they were arriving at 7.

During the afternoon I was meeting Katya and picking up her rental keys with her. We had a wander round the shops which was not ideal as it wasn’t very warm, we have had some dreadful wind and rain over the last few nights, before attempting to pick up the keys, but the estate agent didn’t have them, and couldn’t get in touch with whoever did have them. We spent quite some time sat in the car as my house is not very child friendly at the best of times, without the oils and everything else I had out ready for our girlie night. Anyhow it was eventually sorted and she moved into the rental about 5.20, I had a quick look round, it is a lovely house, very spacious and open plan, but with some nice areas if that makes sense, but had to make a quick exit to get the kids fed and out of the way for everyone arriving.

I had invited Hayley, Diane, Lesley, Angie, Karen, Peppa, Kerrie, Sally, Louise and Gail who was the only one unable to attend, I made a chilli, salad, rice and cheese nachos, then 2 different ice creams for pudding and was lovely even if I do say so myself.

We had a lovely evening, with far too much wine being drunk, although nothing new about that with this lot, they left about midnight ish and I will definitely do it again as we had a right laugh.
