Well I am typing this on Wednesday and I have no idea where Monday and Tuesday went. Tom was at home on Monday, I took Moo to school and Sam went on his bike, I then did some jobs and waited for the maintenance man to come and do some jobs, as it’s a new house there a quite a few snagging bits to do. He left but with the intention of coming back that afternoon after he had picked up an additional part. When I picked Moo up from school we asked Hayley and Millie if they wanted to come for a coffee so we could catch up on the events of there Christmas In July party, as usual it was lovely to see them both. So that was it my day gone and not able to do a great deal. That was probably good though as I was still shattered after our weekend, I am too old for two nights out in one weekend.
Tuesday I had all good intentions, Tom to TAFE, Kids to school and jobs, then shopping, BUT as is the norm when you have good intentions, it didn’t quite go to plan. Jason had 2 conference calls in the afternoon the second was due to end at 4.30 but I think he has learnt his lesson that sometimes these run over, so he decided to work from home rather than risk being very late home. I had to pick him up in Frankston at 2, so I shopped at Karingal, but they didn’t have everything I needed so I still needed to go to Aldi at some point. I picked Jason up, came home, put shopping away and then did the school run for Sam and Moo, while Jason was on his call I made roast tomato soup as 2 big bags of tomatoes was only $3.00. Jason finished his call early and we went to Target and put one of these on lay by.

When we arrived home after picking Tom up we saw our new neighbours just getting out of the car, I shouted Hello and He stopped to say Hello, she just seemed to run off, not sure if she hadn’t seen or heard me, or if after meeting me once, before she didn’t want a second meeting. He was really nice and chatty and we met their children who came to play with ours, well the youngest played with Moo, but was too young really for Moo, but Tom got on really well with the boys which was good and he intends inviting them round again.
Wednesday I was up early to get Tom to TAFE by 7.30 as I needed to be back to get Moo to school just after 8 for a school trip, Sam was really pleased as he could cycle. It was then straight off to Aldi where I didn’t stick to my list, back home to the dishwasher and washing, then off into Mornington to pick up some bits and then onto Lesley’s for lunch. What a lovely lunch it was too, it was a beautiful winters day, the sun was shining and it was lovely and warm. There was Lesley of course, Sally, Sally-ann, Peppa and Me, we had a laugh and a really good girly chat. It was a really lovely day.
