The Up's and Down's of an Aussie Adventure: Christmas in July

We had to get up this morning as Moo had dropped a jar of chocolate Spread and it had smashed on the tiles, thank goodness it was about 10 O clock so we did get a lie in. Hayley and Millie walked past going to feed the ducks so we invited them in for coffee and so Jason could have a cuddle with Millie. I then put my beef joint and roasts in my family banquet to cook ready for taking to Lesley’s tonight.

Hayley, Paul and Millie are also going to a Christmas in July party this afternoon with some of their friends, kids are getting dressed up and Millie was going as a Christmas fairy. Hayley brought her round so we could see how lovely she looked before they left.

We then got ourselves sorted and went out, first we needed to pick up the car which was outside Karen’s where I left it last night, thank goodness most people we know are within walking distance, in fact when we were talking last night I was asked if we’d had any interest in the house, I was then told that when we do sell and we are looking to move we can only buy within a certain perimeter so that we are all still within walking distance and they are right, luckily we love it within the perimeter and will definitely buy within the area. We then called at Peppa’s so Jason could upload some soft ware he had downloaded, big mistake he also down loaded a virus or 20, we were there quite some time, at one point I left him to go shopping and pick up the bits we needed.

It was a lovely evening, loads of people and the Sing Star came out later, there was loads of food, Roast Lamb, Beef, Ham, pigs in blankets which were lovely, sausages are not the same here but these were like proper English sausages, roast potatoes and veg, paxo stuffing balls, bisto gravy, seafood platters, cheese platters and sherry trifle.
