Saturday – Sightseeing, as locals do, or attempting.......I was still in a mood, Jason wanted to be up and off to explore as we had discussed earlier in the week, I was quite happy to stay in bed, eventually we were all up and off, heading south, it was a lovely day and the sun was shining, it was warm but not hot, we drove as far as we could, then back up the back beach road, (we live on the bay beach side). There are some lovely places and we can’t wait to go back and explore properly, while on one road we all saw our first Kangaroo, he was just laid at the side of the road enjoying the sunshine, we pulled over and very quietly Jason and the kids got out to have a look and take a couple of pics, he was quite big, he stood up when he saw us, but was quite happy just to have a good scratch of his bits. We had to call for petrol during this trip, in quite a remote area, and I was quite disturbed to see signs in the petrol station window advertising the local snake catcher, let’s hope we don’t need one of those .
