Nothing much to report about today, washing will be first priority, then packing, we pick up another hire car (we could have bought one, with what we have spent) at 8 tomorrow morning and have this until Monday, we have requested an X Trail in the hope that we can get us all and all our luggage in so can make the move in 1 journey.

It is a bank holiday tomorrow and we are hoping that the roads will be quiet. Over the weekend we will pick up the rest of the things from our list and also look at cars.

We had seen a nice Hyundai Tucson, a few years old, (cars are VERY expensive here) but with Ok mileage, it is the sort of car, we would keep as a second car when we sell in the Uk and Jason can afford the big one he wants, we had a quote from the lease company and it is great from a tax perspective (there are some great tax breaks) and at $550 dollars a month, which included a petrol card, all maintenance costs, insurance, basically we just paid this each month and they sorted everything out, was a good price, approx £260.00 but the $550 is a little over our budget.

Apparently you haggle over everything here, Jason did ask if there was any movement on price the bloke said no, but of course he is going to say that, we have already told him that the lease price is over our budget. The car is $14550, I think we should go and have a look, tell him that we have to go through the lease company, but for our budget we can only afford a car at $12,000, possibly $12,500, and see if we can haggle a price to no more than $13,000. But having never done this, we might have to find someone to do this for us.
