Monday Night

Monday night we were able to stay at home as we still had a mattress on the living room floor and a couple of sheets handy we were bringing with us, we went to Nikki and Phil’s for a lovely takeaway and a wine or two with Claire and Gillian, we talked and laughed about the fun and not so fun times we’d had on Aspen Grove. It was great fun and we didn’t say any good byes, just some see you soon’s, we were very tired but didn’t leave until nearly mid night, we did well considering how much we’d had to drink the previous day with Emma and Stuart (who are obviously a bad influence on us).

Nikki also felt sorry for us and we left with a duvet to keep us warm, although we should have asked for pillows too as we didn’t have any of those handy and it was quite strange sleeping with no pillows.

Thanks Nikki and Phil for a memorable night and Claire and Gillian for great company as usual. Before we left we were presented with a leaving present a framed picture of the Todd family next to the Aspen Grove sign, this will be packed in our luggage and taken with us.
