It has been a very busy weekend, not only have we continued to try and get the house ready for the shippers, packing what we need to take with us, packing what we need after the shippers have gone, packing the dogs things, but we have been out saying our goodbyes.
The weekend started at the Hairy Lemon, with Suzy, Cathie, Jo-Anne, Andy, Jules and Stu, we had a lovely tapas meal and lots of champagne, well the girls did, the boys had red wine, it was a very funny night, with lots of laughter, in fact we are not convinced that a bloke on the next table would rather have come and sat with us as he just ignored his group all night and stared at us, our conversation must have been much more interesting, well one of the topics was Bridget Jones knickers. Saturday we were up early which was not good as we didn’t leave Suzy’s until nearly 2. We spent all day Saturday cleaning and sorting and had takeaway curry for tea.
Sunday was hectic, but very pleasant, again we were up early to try and finish as much as we could, Sam played his last game of rugby, they won so he was really pleased, it was also his 11th birthday, Nicky and Phil had a little party for him, which he loved including a birthday cake. Good Byes on Sunday included, Andy and Jane, Pauline and Frank, Stewart and Emma, Tony and Dawn and Hilary and Peter.
We had a very late night and Emma and Stewart stayed which was lovely at the time, but not so good having to get up at 6 this morning, ready for the shippers at 9.
