Well this is it, we are on countdown for Jason to leave and the children and I stay here until the house is sold, or we run out of money, in which case Jason will have to come home, not a great thought, but one that we now have to realistically consider. Although it is not ideal being apart for more than 6 months, financially it will be difficult to sustain a lifestyle here and one in Australia and transferring Australian dollar into English pounds is not at a good rate, it is going to be an interesting few months.

Thursday 3 April 2008 DEPART - Manchester Terminal 2 2050 EMIRATES AIRLINES FLIGHT EK20
Saturday 5 April 2008 ARRIVE - MELBOURNE/TULLAMARINE 0630 from EMIRATES AIRLINES FLIGHT EK406
This flight goes via Dubai, unfortunalty for Jason he will only get to see the airport, while he transfers to the flight for Melbourne
On arrival, he will be picked up from the airport and accomodaton has been booked at the Oaks on Collins, www.theoaksgroup.com.au.
He then starts work on Monday 7th, luckily he gets to work flexi hours for the first few weeks, not sure he will have recovered from his jetlag!
