Last night we responded to the email from SMS HR asking for a start date, we asked them if the 7th April would be OK, Jason’s contract mentions a start date of February / March and we thought we might be pushing it asking for a date in April, but they seem to be OK with this, we now wish we had asked for a later date to give us more time to get ourselves organised. They want to book flights as soon as possible in order to get the best fares and have even asked if we can estimate a date for me and the children to depart, apparently the booking will nominate a date up to which dates can be changed, if they need to vary them closer to the time.
It looks like Jason is going to leave the UK on the 3rd April, once we have confirmed our passport details and dates, temporary accommodation and a driver to pick up from the airport will be arranged. As for a date for the children and I, well how long is a piece of string!
