This Week, another busy one

Well I should have had only 2 shifts this week and intended having a catch up with emails and facebook, sorry to those of you who have sent emails we will respond very soon, but really have not had any time this week, with work and seeing to Katie and Ryan who are here until next Monday.

On Monday morning Katie and I went to school assembly, when I got home I received a call from Domain asking if I could cover a shift so I worked 10.15 until 3.15, I was already roistered to work on the Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 until 3.15 so one extra day was not going to make much difference and in all honesty going in at 10.15 meant I had missed the hardest part of the day. I was on a different wing, but everyone was really nice and the time flew by.

Thursday I had agreed to go to the Melbourne RCH with Hayley and Millie, Hayley picked Tom and I up at 7.30 and threw Tom out in Frankston for TAFE, we then headed towards the CBD, it was a good drive and not that bad until we were on the outskirts of the city, I think I am lucky poor Hayley did not go into labour with the traffic. Anyhow it was good news for Millie and after a muffin and coffee we set off back to the Peninsular.

When I got back Ryan and I set off to Aldi for my monthly two trolley shop, Ryan was impressed at the speed I can now shop and fill 2 trolleys, we left Katie here and she had a tidy round and vacuumed. I then went to the butchers and also to Dan Murphy’s, as we have decided to have a BBQ for Tom’s birthday. We have invited about 50 people including kids and think anywhere between 30 and 40 will actually turn up. It should be a good day and hopefully Tom will enjoy his first birthday in Oz

Today was a good day, after dropping the kids at school I went into Mornington and picked up the last lot of bits I needed then went to Peppa’s for a coffee for an hour, hum right, about 2.5 hours later I left, got back, gave Ryan and Katie there instruction and after doing the marinades left Ryan cutting the grass and Katie rolling the home made beef burgers while I got the kids. I dropped them back at the house then went to pick Jason up who had left work early.

Quick pasta tea while we got ourselves organised for tomorrow and of course we kept having to shake the sambucca pineapple....... our signature dish
