Wednesday we really interesting, all the trainers are qualified nurses, but from different areas, Wednesdays trainer, is a specialist in Palliative Care, she is just completing a Masters, has worked with Mother Theresa in Calcutta and Dr Catherine Hamlin in Ethiopia and in 7 weeks she will be going to Rome to lecture on palliative care and intends writing a book. She was incredibly passionate and her stories really amazing.
Today we did Basic Life Support and CPR, I know I have passed this element of the course.
I have to admit to being shattered, tonight it is Safety House and I have sent my apologies, it is not even 7.30 and I am in my pyjama's, having a glass of wine and will be having an early night.
I can not believe how quickly this week has gone, I have been told that hopefully my placement will be in Mt Eliza which is only 10 minutes away and will be ideal, so we will see. I need a police check before I can go on placement and this was requested just over a week ago, hopefully this will be back next week. We need to go shopping at the weekend for comfortable black flat shoes, that should be fun as flat and comfortable doesn't usually go hand in hand with stylish!

Sorry don't usually respond as you know me and computers but the thought of you in flat black shoes had me creased with laughter!!! Am really missing our catch-up lunches but so pleased toy are settling in and seem to have found a social circle which matches you and Jason - wine, wine and more wine!!! Lots of love Carol xxx
