Saturday was another wasted day, after a late and drunken night last night, we were late up and had headaches, after breakfast / lunch Anna, Jason, Moo and I set off up to Lyndhurst to the Henley’s show homes, they are lovely to look at and it got us out of the house for an hour or two. We were not very enthusiastic due to the hangovers, after a quick stop at McDonalds we came back home, had our pyjamas on just after 5, had a Chinese Takeaway for tea then Anna booked flights to see one of her younger sisters in Brisbane, so she is now looking forward to that and some better weather as it is still in the 20’s in Brisbane, whereas we not getting higher than 18 this week.
Tom babysat for Millie, she was really good and only woke once and he had no trouble from her, but we expected nothing less as she is a sweetie.
Today we went to the Mornington race course craft market, it was spitting in and amongst but still good, we bought some new cushions (which are nice mum, Skype may just not do them justice), nuts, bread, chocolate dipping sauce and orange liqueur sauce. We set some bombs off in the house before we left and had to be out for 2 hours, which we just about managed. We had planned to go to St Kilda after the market but the weather was not up to it and Tom refused to come, it was always out intention to drop him back at the house once we had finished at the market.
When we got back from the market we had some lunch and as the rain was not subsiding decided we did not have the inclination to move, we played Disney Trivia, Disney Scene It and then Jason taught us all, including the kids how to play poker.
We also ended up bombing the car today, on our way to the Craft Market we stopped at Benton Square, we needed cash and Anna needed some tissues. The kids and I were waiting in the car, Tom and Jason were in the front seats, Anna and I in the middle, and Moo and Sam in the back row, I was talking to Sam when I saw a rather large spider on its web start dropping down at the side of him, I know you shouldn’t panic, but I screamed, Sam saw what I was screaming at, screamed and jumped onto Moo’s knee at the other side of the car, I got out, got them both out of the car screaming, in the rain, in the middle of the supermarket car park, we got some strange looks, Tom got out while we decided what we needed to do, luckily by the time I had opened the door on Sam’s side of the car, it was on the floor and just walked out of the car, dropped on the floor and I stood on it. Needless to say on our way to the market we went via Bunning’s for more bombs and while we were playing poker let it off in the car, just to be on the safe side.
I have a mental note that when Anna and I are next shopping I need to buy a spider book to understand what it what as our “treat everything as being a killer” theory is starting to panic us.

Hi Shelley
We know someone who had a white tail on them when they got in the car, so we are obsessed. But as we bomb, including the garage thought we would be OK, how wrong we were, you should have seen us screaming in the car park, we must have looked a right set of numptys.
Have a FAB time with your mum and dad, you are so lucky they are arriving soo soon
