When we woke the sky was dark and it looked like it might rain, we were fooled it didn’t rain, in fact it ended up being quite warm, we didn’t rush to leave the apartment due to the weather although I did come prepared and do have an umbrella with me. We decided to go and buy Mario Kart for the Wii, which is out on the UK, we figured out where we might be able to buy it from and I thought I would test my navigation skills, it didn’t work, first I seem to have no sense of direction at all, which I cannot understand and secondly when we eventually found a game shop (not the one we were looking for I hasten to add) it doesn’t come out here until the 24th so we were a week early.
Tom then wanted to spend some of his money, so he wasted most of it on a $190.00 skateboard – WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea why, but he was adamant that this is what he really wanted, I then had Sam sulking as he has some birthday money and wanted to buy one too, I think not Sam, we will be able to go to Big W and get one for much less and he can buy other things too.
Which is why we had MacDonald’s to try and cheer Moo and Sam up who hadn’t bought anything and were not happy about this.
We got back to the apartment mid afternoon and I did more washing while Moo had a swim, Sam was still sulking with me for saying “no”!
Tea was bacon, eggs, beans and toast – I am getting quite good with the facilities we have available, although the bacon was pre-cooked thank goodness.
Spoke to dad and Buster on Skype tonight, still can’t see anyone as the connection is not great but at least we could have a conversation and confuse the dog by calling his name, he won’t be happy as he is going to the kennels today as mum and dad are going to Florida tomorrow for 3 weeks. Due to the Oz and American time difference, we have figured out that we need to skype them at 11 at night and it will be 9 in the morning with them.
Not a great picture (from mobile) but one of Buster on the bed my little brother got for him awwwww, even though he growls at Andrew and doesn’t seem to like him. The dog obviously thinks he is above Andrew in the pack order.

Hi Aunty Wendy
Poor Andrew:-) We can move in when ever we want, but we only found out today that our furniture did not leave the UK until 2 days ago it is likely to be June before we have our home comforts and we don't fancy sleeping on the floor for that long. We will just drive down this weekend, and it is a bank holiday here next Friday and Jason is off work so we are going to move down then, just another week here.
