Another early start this morning and another morning where we did not want to get out of bed, but we had plans, I will be glad when we have a weekend with no plans. After breakfast we set off to Jason’s office to have a look at the view from the 41st floor, it was a little hazy so we couldn’t see as far as you can apparently, but it was still an amazing view and your ears do pop when you are going up and down and the lift is much quicker than it takes the one in our hotel to get us to the 12th floor.
Then once again back down the coast to the house to check how many creepy crawlies we had killed with the bombs, there were a couple more ear wig type things but we did find our first red back in the kitchen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red-back_spider we think it was a male as it was very tiny, but it still had the red stripe, the bomb works for up to three months so it will be interesting what we see next week, but it is a repellent and once the ones already in the house have been killed it will stop any new ones coming in which is why we have bombed now. We will also be bombing every 2 months rather than 3, just to be on the safe side.
At 11.30, we had an appointment with John who was going to take us round the development as they are still building and show us what is going to be where, which was really nice of him. Once we had finished with him we had a drive to Rosebud where we had lunch, then we drove to the Southfield shopping centre where we bought, an iron, kettle, toaster, 6 pillows, a yard brush and 4 deck chairs. We then took these back to the house so that we don’t have to move them when we move down next weekend. We called at a Mexican for tea, which I am sure is lovely, but we were all just too tired after a couple of long days to really enjoy it. We are now back in the room updating the blog and having a beer, we are going to speak to mum and dad again tonight as it may be a little more difficult during the week when Jason has to get up for work with the 14 hour time difference we now have.
