Well today has been dreadful, James and his girlfriend came from Leeds to look at Ben, they loved him, but who doesn’t he has such a great personality, if James hadn’t taken him his girlfriend said she would have him. So we packed up all his things and off they went. Sam and I cried, in fact I am struggling to type this as I am attempting to contain the tears in front of the kids, Moo was at Act 1 luckily and Tom was still at his friends, Moo hasn’t said anything and we are trying not to make a fuss about him being gone.
James has taken our email address and said he would send us updates. Poor Ben will wonder what he has done wrong, we rescued him from the RSPCA and I now feel as though we have abandoned him and let him down. It would have been easier had he gone to someone we knew, but everyone we know either has a cat and Ben would have to be the only cat or they are allergic to cats.
We have been invited to Nicky and Phil’s tonight, which will be nice and will take our minds off him. Need to get our nights out with friends in, as we don’t have many left - Nights that is!!.

good that Ben has gone to a good home. Cats are very resilient animals and adapt to change quickly
