We have a TRN !!!!

Which is a Transaction Reference Number, the TRN is a unique number assigned to each online application lodged with the Australian department of Immigration. With this we can book our medicals and access information on-line about the progress of our application - Although nothing is going to happen now for quite a few weeks. Our medicals have been booked for the 18th December in York, they will be emailed immediately to the processing unit in Sydney, who currently have a backlog of about 4 weeks, so it will be sometime in January before these are finalized and they need to be finalized before they will consider and approve (or even decline) the visa. Hopefully there will be nothing seriously wrong with any of us, as this would obviously adversely affect our visa application.

Well we haven’t had one phone call about the house, but it is the wrong time of year and the weather is dreadful, at some point over the next week or so we will email most of our local estate agents and see what commission they will charge so we know who we will put the house with in the new year and hope it then sells quickly.

We can now concentrate on Christmas which we are all looking forward to and not be waking in the night wondering if our application has been submitted yet.
