No Laughing or Sarcastic Comments PLEASE at my New Pressie

Since we have been in Mount Martha I have complained a little to Jason about how wonderful my convertible would have been over here, with the blue skies and sun shining and we are meant to be here for the lovely fresh air and the outdoor living. Over the last couple of weeks had I had a convertible, the roof would have been down more than up, it has been that lovely.

Anyhow Jason has obviously been thinking about my words, well the fresh air and outdoor living bit and decided that I am right, we are here for fresh air and to spend more time outdoors enjoying the sunshine and very kindly bought me a present.

Now I know that some of you (Andrew and anonymous on the blog), think that Jason has bought me another car and spoiled me, and that others (Robin) are intrigued as to what it is, so I will put you out of your misery, now as it says in the title, no laughing please, but I have gone from this mode of transport
To...................................................................................................................................

I said no laughing please..............................

Over here people are very sporting the kids cycle or scooter to school, mums jog or if they take the car it is because they are going straight to the gym after the school run, so this is my opportunity to get fit and enjoy the fresh air and outdoors lifestyle, not quite what I had in mind, and obviously the convertible would have been the preferred option, but I don’t think we could have got one of those in the sale for $79.00, we will see how it goes.

The only problem, over her you have to wear a cycle helmet by law and I look a right muppet, if you want to see me wearing said helmet you will have to come and visit as NO pics will be posted on here.

I have had the bike one week tomorrow and have not been out as yet, I am trying to pluck up the courage to be seen wearing the helmet.

Given Jasons Wii rating perhaps a tandem should have been in order? Still - at least its not a trike with a nice basket on....click phantom poster user name above to see what it could have been!

Sorry Aunty Wendy, until I come to terms with having to wear it, no-one is seeing me, I will see if I can get a picture of Jason wearing it to give you an idea:-)

You are right and it could have been far worse and I think the bike is something we can both share, Jason has started going to football on a Tuesday so that should help him reduce his Wii rating, we will see :-)
