Mollie and Sam had their medicals received and finalised on the 4th January 2008, so we are just waiting for Tom, Immi updated the system to show that they had received his reports on the 9th January 08, he did have both a medical and chest x-ray, so is likely to take longer for them to finalise his.
The house is for sale http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-18758390.rsp?pa_n=1&tr_t=buy, the man that came to do the energy survey for the HIPS report was really nice, stayed longer than he probably should have, but as he is moving to Brisbane in August we did have a lot to talk about, we swapped email addresses so we could stay in touch which was really nice.
We have 3 shipping companies, (John Mason, Dorree Bonner and Crown) coming next week to give us quotes, we will probably need a 20ft container to get the things in we want to take. We have also bought two large tins of Jeyes cleaning fluid to start disinfecting shoes and the garden things we want to take.
We have opened a Bank account and have all the details, once we have an arrival date we need to let our personal banker Adrian know and make an appointment to see him and pick up our cards etc.
The visa will not be approved until we have had the medicals finalised, but we are not in a rush the longer we have to wait, the longer we have to sell the house and get everything organised.
