Right, this week’s update, or not as the case clearly is again! We woke up on Monday morning and as usual checked email, before doing anything else, Fantastic we thought there was an email from our agent with our E-visa attached for checking. So we checked it and found that something was not quite right with Jason’s qualifications, they had very kindly made one up for him and included that, but as we don’t have a certificate to substantiate this, they needed to remove it. We sent a nice email back on Monday afternoon so they would receive ours Monday night, their Tuesday morning. And it is now Thursday night, very nearly their Friday morning and we have not heard anything. AHHHHHHH. Do they not know what this is doing to us!!!
On the bright side I have completed the form we need for Tom, and Mark is going to do his bit this weekend which is good, so we can scan that and get it to the agent early next week.
The house is all magnolia again, and not magnolia with black fingerprints, and in the Halifax Evening Courier tomorrow night, not that anyone will see the advert, we are attempting to sell privately for now and it has cost us £147 something for the tinniest little advert with a small black and white picture. It is also on http://www.sellmyownhome.co.uk/viewadvert.php?pid=234. We have been told that the chances of selling at this time of year are slim, and that any viewings will be those who have finished their Christmas shopping and have nothing better to do than nosey at others homes. So with our tiny advert and also the advert on the above mentioned website, if we do have any interest you would hope that they were genuine, as they have had to really look for it. Today we have been told that unless you put a price on a private sale display board, you are not likely to get much interest as people think they can’t afford it and we don’t really want to do that, put the price on it that is.
Have received all the doggy transport quotes back they range from £2706 to the most expensive at £3502, we have sent a further email to Jets4Pets asking what we need to do next, but won’t do anything until we have had and passed our medicals, which is the only thing that could jeopardize the move.
Now need to decide what we want to take and contact furniture shippers..........................watch this space for updates on that one, ohh and we need to remember that Christmas is fast looming and the kids are not for skipping Christmas this year, so it looks like we need to sort ourselves out for that too. The to do list is getting longer and not shorter and yes dad, Jason will get round to fixing your printer this weekend.
We are all still really excited about the move, even Tom, who has a friend he goes to school with, Jamie who moves to Perth next year too, they have already agreed to stay in touch and fly to see one and other.
